I should note that I had a good signal strength, and the process got as far as their authentication screen, but after that there was no internet connection. At any rate, their instructions (which you can see at http://bright.net/~lindaz/hampton-inn/hampton.html say to set up a wireless network: You are going to add in the hhonors manually to do this select ADD on the bottom left corner and type the hhonors in the the field listed as Network Name (SSID). Also make sure you have checks in the option Data Encryption (WEP enabled) and This key is provided for me automatically. Now I have a XWLan profile with the ssid set, but don't understand (neither does XWLAN) WEP with an automatically provided key. FWIW I was unable to get it to work in Win2k either; and the Cisco Aironet utility didn't seem to understand automatic key provision either. They told me at the desk the next day that there had been a lot of problems with their provider (apparently they use local ISPs). -- Julian Thomas: jt@jt-mj.net http://jt-mj.net In the beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York State!
