When I got my R51, I posted here and got the response that the internal BG2200 (or whatever it is) wireless card was supported by the GENMAC driver and that it was working. It was only after downloading the GENMAC driver and failing that I learnt that I needed a version that had not yet been released. I'm afraid the response (in this list) was more on the lines of "How stupid of you not to realize that immediately." We don't have that many choices for wireless and it is very frustrating to be told that there are actually drivers available except that we are not on the privileged list. We condemn Microsoft for their vapourware and this is in the same category.
