Starband doesn't support VPN.

I don't know about other Satellite services.  Make sure you verify that 
before you invest.

There are companies that are doing wireless internet access for remote 
areas.  So you may want to check into that.  They usually supply the 
radio's and service.  Also Broadband over Powerline may be an option.
