I believe that Edgar's plan is to follow last year's schedule rather closely, with half-day sessions on Thursday and Friday, and shorter presentations on the weekend. Start and end times should also be fairly close to last year (8am - 5:30pm). Keep an eye on the schedule which should be coming online soon enough at http://www.warpstock.org/event_info/2005/presentations.html. >>I need to get some feedback from this list to shape my >>presentations, as I don't want to re-hash the same stuff I've done the >>past two years (those presentations are still available for download >> >> >>from the Warpstock site, BTW). > >I recently bought a couple of the Asus WL-330g "Pocket Wireless Access Point" devices, and they're excellent! >I set one up as the AP and the other as an Ethernet Adaptor on my ThinkPad, and the performance was excellent. >I walked up the road to check range, and gave up when I started receiving someone else's network on the same >channel (about 100 yards from home). I joined last year, and I can honestly say that I have not been spammed as a result of joining, which is a good thing. I usually set up a router in the room so that my wife and I can share the connection, so feel free! -- Lewis ------------------------------------------------------------ Lewis G Rosenthal, CNA, CLE Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC Accountants / Network Consultants New York / Northern Virginia www.2rosenthals.com eComStation Consultants www.ecomstation.com Novell Users International www.novell.com/linux/truth Warpstock 2005 - Hershey, Pennsylvania, October 6-9, 2005 www.warpstock.org ------------------------------------------------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
