AES is not part of the original WPA spec. So, if a router supports AES
under WPA (vs clearly denoting WPA2), it's really doing WPA2 - at least as
far as my understanding of the standards goes.

The point of WPA2 is that it implements the balance of the 802.11i
standard, including AES. If anyone has a pointer to something to the
contrary, please chime in!
