I'm not really sure what your point is...My IP addresses are all real addresses not internal addresses, so the routing is just the same as any other ISPs.So you configure all of your systems with a Gateway/Router address? if so is it the same address as your ADSL Router/Bridge?
Yes.
Or are you saying that all of your IP addesses are visible to the internet? Surely thats not the case.
Yes it is!
In fact you may even be able to ping my wireless laptop which I've just got working ;-)... It's on at the moment and the IP address is 213.152.37.91
I beg to differ. I too had allot of difficulties with my first wireless configurations. When I got everyting working I found that I was getting wrapped around the axle about things that didn't really matter.I'm not sure. I would just fire up a wireless workstation and see if it works.:-)
Nothing ever 'just works' - especially where OS/2 is involved.
Setting up WiFi with OS/2 is really easy and straight forward.
That depends on what you are trying to do....
I'll give it a go, but am not optimistic. What's the downside of trying? :)
Sam
Well I guess I have to eat humble pie. It does work!
Still not sure how.... And have no idea how I'll be able to use a second laptop. But that will be tomorrow's challenge.
BTW, thanks for making me try to prove you wrong ;-)...
