The comment at the top of IBMLAN.INI gives the impression that it
is read by the requester when starting. So, I assumed, that provided the
requester was *not* started, you could mess with the file and then start it. It
would appear from the testing I have done that this is only partially true.
Some changes work and others throw an error that does not appear if one
reboots.
I now have it working with TCP/IP, NETBIOS and NETBIOS over TCP/IP on both
adapters.
The only trick needed seems to be both adapters having an address for the
requester to start. I assign a silly private address to the WIFI adapter in
startup.cmd and flip back and forth in the xwlan script when changing.
