Ok, so this cannot be the problem. As I also don't know it I cannot even 
guess what went wrong. Can it be that you use a former version of a 
driver caller NDIS wrapper ? Please use 
ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/genmac/genmac100.zip only

Then you try to add the widget to a tray. This is not allowed. You can 
only add the widget to a place left or right to the tray widget. If you 
are not sure where the tray widget ends, make sure to configure the 
xcenter to display the spacing lines.
