I am sorry to hear that. I thought I have cought all bugs for the "IP disabled" problem (is that the tooltip text when you more themouse ptr over the widget)?

please execute xwlprf /V /C and send me the output. protocol.ini would be helpful as well.

Bumping in ....

You do recall I had some problems here after the return from WS Dresden. The problem was xwlan showed proper connection, but or there was no connection to the router or I couldn't go to the Internet (while being connected to each router and each other PC though).

I've now more or less succeeded in pinpointing the problem.

What was the difference between WS Dresden and home? Well, in Dresden we were DHCP connected and at home I tried to use the usual fixed IP addresses.

So, I resetted each system here to dhcp, and after that _all_ systems were connected properly through the router and to the internet (using "connect to hotspot").

With some fiddling around I managed to re-instituate my original IP addresses then. But still the issue isn't solved really, it it?

Looking on the bright side now: I've replaced 3 wired connections with a Dlink DWL-G520+ , and the latter works magnificient, far more better the the wired (Yukon, Marvel, Realtek) counterparts.

The Dlink DWL-G520+ are sold out now and can be get new and rather cheap at Ebay or comuter fairs.

So I would say, take your chanche before ot's to late.
