All under control now. Mark Dodel gave me the tip offline that eCenter is
very fussy about where it is right clicked to add a widget. The blank
space to the right of the existing widgets did not work; you need to get
between two existing widgets and then XWLAN won't be grayed out. That
worked and now XWLAN widget is working properly.
