Yes, I was already aware of that. But my problem is: how do I boot into
Dos with no floppy drive available? The Dfsee Cd boots to Dos, but that
isn't much of a help, is it?
   


I ran no-1802.com from a DOS prompt from within eCS.

Couldn't  imagine it would be that easy.

This fixed it.
Bad thing: you need to remove the card first, before you are able to
do _anything_ with the laptop. So, remove it, boot to eCS, run
no-1802.com, shutdown, install the card again.

 

After all, the card has to be removed anyway, so that's not much of a penalty.

Got the file meanwhile, thak you. However, have to do exams Italian end this week, so operations are postponed till the week-end. Will make a reeport then.

If anyone else wants the file, it's here (I renamed the hyphen to a more regular underscore) within the zipfile:

Incidentally, some servers (such as these used by Belgacom) can't cope with capitals and hyphens in the file names. Myabe that's the reason why I couldn't download it. Also to avoid file corruption it is very much preferable to pack the files into a zip file.
