Even though I don't use a built-in wireless NIC or genmac on my ancient
T23, I thought it was time to update my ancient (but working) XWLAN 1.xx
with 2.12.
Deleted the old xwlan widget.
Downloaded, and unzipped 2.12 zip into a directory /xwlan 2xx. Ran the
instwgt command which cussed until I closed eCenter, then rerunning it ran
to completion.
HOWEVER, after restarting eCenter doing a right click on eCenter and
selecting add widget, I don't get to install xwlan - it's grayed out.
Reboot doesn't change anything.

In most countries selling harmful things like drugs is punishable.
Then howcome people can sell Microsoft software and go unpunished?
