Dunno about Svista, but I had/have no problems with Genmac and VPC/2 on a TP41. Have to admit I had all other drivers wiped out of protocol.ini . Maybe that's the issue.
Right now the only driver I had installed was GenMac which worked great until I installed the VPC network switch. after that it stopped working. WLAN 2.12 said "IP interface is disabled:lan1" The problem is that the adapter is LAN0. I went back the Cisco350 and all is well again.
I forget the error I had. I had to remove those and then do the install before it worked. Since this was a clean install this time I had no problems, but I now have to install VPC/2.
Perchange, (other than hacking the bios) don't you know a means of changing an 2100b -- > 2200b/g on a TP41?
I bought a 2200b/g that was specific for IBM TPs. It has an IBM part number. Worked fine on my T42p. Sorry no idea on the T41.
