The GenMac driver with Atheros card is apparently reporting dBm values (actual receive power) on the signal strength (Rssi) parameter. I checked this with GenMac's scan.exe utility. Connection loss limit is around -95, maximum signal strength at a few cm distance from the AP is around -40. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
