Meyer & C. Langanke!) under ECS 1.2. To my surprise I find that Peer doesn't work, while TCP/IP works perfectly well. The requester exits with error code NET3060 ("The service did not respond to a control signal and was stopped with the DosKillProc function"). Using the other built-in wired LAN connection (Intel PRO 100 using the driver supplied with ECS 1.2 - E100B?), Peer starts up fine. My LAN uses plain TCP/IP for Internet & printing (HP printer server) and plain NETBIOS / NETBEUI for file sharing. Am I right to suspect that XWLan will only setup TCP/IP connections but no (Peer over) plain NETBIOS....? (that is, I can't find any NETBIOS related setup info like host name etc. in XWLAN) I haven't yet tried to connect w/o using XWlan, as the wifi LAN I'm using has WEP encryption. Using a Cisco 352 WLAN card, that WEP key had to be entered in MPTS (or entered manually in PROTOCOL.INI), but alas! the only place I found for entering a WEP key is in XWLan.... Any suggestions to get Peer over NETBIOS started? (I'd like to avoid TCPBEUI) Philip =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
