I have used one Nokia GSM phone over IrDA connection and Injoy dialer for dialing.
I have done this on a desktop machine, on my notebook the IrDA unfortunately does not work.

All you need is that the IrDA drivers work with your hardware, the other thing that the dialer supports the dialing numbers like: "*99#"
And the phone must have a built in modem.

I'm interested both in wifi and cellular connection and have PCI, PCMCIA and

USB slots/ports available (though I have neither PCMCIA nor USB drivers loaded).

Don't know anything about cellular. I would recommend running out of
the room screaming if someone suggests it though.

I know of at least one person that has a cellular PC card running with OS/2.
