If so and you have >an integrated Wifi adapter GenMac 1.0 was recently released and is >working great with my integrated Broadcom B/G in my Dell Latitude D600. >If you don't have an integrated card then the IBM High Rate 128 PCMCIA >card works great and the IBM driver is available on ecomstation.com. >You can also use an Orinco Gold card with this driver. Thanks for your help; yes I am talking about a laptop. I have it mounted in my van on a docking station, which is how I happen to have a PCI slot available. It's kind of old -- Toshiba Tecra 8000 -- so it doesn't have a built-in NIC at all. I actually have my desktop connected to one of the wired ports on a wireless router I bought to go with my cable modem. What I want to do is: 1) communicate between the two without having to drag the laptop inside; 2) access the internet from the laptop likewise; 3) access the internet via cellular when on the road; and 4) access wifi hotspots when I travel by air or when I'm staying in hotels or with family/friends. Thanks. -- __ Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam: Michael E. Ehinger The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records.
