No. Something is wrong in your setup. I have the xcentre version on
my laptop and I assumed the exe would work the same. I just unzipped
the file to a temp dir on my desktop and just double clicked the exe
without bothering with the install scripts - No wireless on this box.

Works the same way - RMB brings up a list:

Properties
Enable Radio
Scan for connection
Public Hotspot
Select Profile
Add/Edit Profile
TCP/IP Interface
Help
Window
Exit
