I decided to draft a FAQ before the How-To. Please comment freely
It's great.
I learned a lot.
Just add more ;)
I think Kris Steenhaut has made a worthwhile point. I think your FAQ should include the answer to his question (which I think I finally answered) which is:I should probably split the configuration section into two parts. I know that for the How-To, I want to do just this. I'll do it in the FAQ, as well.
how does one install the drivers and bind the protocol and configure the card JUST using the tools of OS/2 - which is what MOST people are going to be doing if they are installing OS/2. (I know, we don't think of people actually installing OS/2 anymore!!) The answer of course is opening up the mpts notebook. A walkthrough detailing use of the notebook, such as the one I provided to Kris, would be very helpful to a newbie.
I remember when I as a newbie first struggled through trying to figure out 'what the hell do I do now?' - it was frustrating. Fortunately, I had Windows ;) so I could go on the internet and read newsgroups. LOL.Yes, I think we all can remember a time when we struggled with networking in general, either because the technology was new or because we were new to the technology!
