No, Kris. Will was telling you that this little app (I'm not referring to the widget, though the same description applies) is so handy, that it takes all the hard work out of the setup.

Christian has bundled ***BOTH*** a standalone executable ***AND*** an Xcenter/Ecenter widget in ***ONE*** package. YOU DO NOT NEED XCENTER OR ECENTER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE EXECUTABLE and Will was not telling you that you MUST install ANYTHING beyond the 106K wlanstat.exe.

Not absolutely required, but very highly recommended; once you've used it,
you wouldn't want to be without it.
