I won't install any xwork* thinghies for the reason I'd explained in my 1st messages.

Wlanstat.exe is installed, so what? No idea what to do with it.

The question is simple, but the answer is not. The correct setup of your WIFI-card is also determined by the setup of your Accesspoint.

 

Exactly. And that is the easy part as all of that is openly available.
