I won't install any xwork* thinghies for the reason I'd explained in my 1st messages.

Wlanstat.exe is installed, so what? No idea what to do with it.

And to repeat again: two years ago, when no widget was around, how did you configure/manage that jacaranda card.
   


Maybe someone just used TEDIT with relevant .NIF file....
 

That's looks good enough to me. So, anybody knows what exactly I have to look for?
