That's exactly the problem, it looks like I'm not allowed to make my choice.

My question was: how did people set the jacaranda 2 years ago when no widgets were around. If you clain people have a choice, you let them make a choice out of what is available.

but I unzipped the package to a clean directory, then read the
.hlp file. Run instexe.cmd and it installed as a WPS object. I also have no
use for the XCENTER - more trouble than it's worth for me - so I went with the
standalone.

If I don't need any x* , that's another situation of course.

Not as fancy as some, but it does the trick for me.



What exactly do you mean by "the trick"?
