Last time I did myself the "favour" the x* thinghy screwed my system. I 
was lucky as I always have proper back ups.
Anyway, I tought it could be done without additional gimmicks, or do I

The router, an SMC 7804wbrb (ADSL Barricade g as tehy call it) is a (quote):

Me thinks, on the wired part, it is propely installed (after much of 
pain). To repeat:

Main PC to router ---> internet

Laptop T41 to router --> Internet

Main PC and laptop connectable to each other by means of ftp and netdrive.

Drivers for the jacaranda are installed. Little lights on the jacaranda 
are blinking so every now and then ....

I jsut don't know to do what next ... for instance, how do I controll 
wether the card sees the router or not?
