Hi Tom,
I assume that you right-clicked on the space occupied by the tray widget.
The problem is that the XWLAN widget is not "trayable", this means that
you cannot add it to a tray, hence the greyed-out menu item. Instead, you
have to right-click on the xcenter space not occupied by any widget.
It the menu list widget is part of the eCenter, all eCenter space is used
up, so you can only try to hit the space between the widgets.
Unfortunately, this space is normally only one pel wide. If you have
difficulties finding the right pixel column, try to temporarily modify the
widget spacing on the 2nd page of the xcenter properties - then it is far
easier.
Sorry for the hassle, but this is an e/xCenter problem that I cannot fix.
I would like to see a menu entry that would appear in in the context menus
of all widgets, allowing to add a new widget to the e/xCenter. For the
tray widget, there would be a 2nd item required, for adding a widget to
the tray.
BTW, with eCS 2.0, AFAIK the base installation will add the widget if a
supported wireless nic is detected.
thanx, Christian
