MAC address filtering to lock them out.

So it seems the sound indicates it is trying to connect and cannot. Somewhere in the configuration process I got the sound to stop.  By trying to connect where I had no authority the sound started again.

At one point a box opened that said the same address had been assigned to both wired and wireless, and said I must chose one.  That is an improvement over eCS 1.2.  There I had to install wired support and save the files, and then install wireless and save the files, and then select a file set and reboot.

Win uses wired if it is available and if not uses wireless.  So I can unplug the cable and walk outside and it still works.  Is there any reason besides time and/or money that OS/2 could not work that way?
