Being a part of Warpstock Europe organization for all events so far, I 
can say the organization teams have had the very same problems finding 
locations, staff etc.

Of course there never was a purpose to place the europe event close to
the US event in order to hinder someone to visit both. Mostly time
planning was more restricted by the other factors here as well.
