Hi Christian,Thats good to hear. I felt somewhat uncomfortable to fire of a new version without deep testing, but hoped that it would work anyway as I changed only one major thing - after all it was a problem that many people could have.
Version 1.11 works good!
I use a script to configure the wired lan card. I know it isn't build for that, but its easy. Sometimes I use a wireless card at home and sometimes a wried connection (If I backup the notebook) so that's why I use it.Understood. Well, of course it is possible to not let XWLAN do the TCP/IP config and do everything per script. Or let XWLAN configure the IP interface of the Wireless LAN device, and on disconnect just execute a "dhcpmon /t and relaunch "dhcpstrt" for the wired interface. If you do so, make sure that you do a sleep for some seconds after the first command, as the dhcpmon command will return immediately and the dhcpstrt command should not be issued before the client deamon has really ended.
Is it possible to extent the rexx event? Know I can only test on connect and disconnect and disabling the wireless card is seen as a disconnect. Can you also make an event for removing?Yes, of course, but then I also would include a "insert"event as well . But what would be the use case for this ? Right now, on card removal the disconnect event is executed anyway...
