Are you using the version of TCPCFG2 which is Java-independent, or the one which is tied to JVM 1.1.8? (BTW, my \tcpip\java\tcpcfg2.jar is dated 2002-10-17).

How do I sort that out???

There is java131 here and GC java141, no java118.

When I replace the java131 byy GC java141 (the latest GA vesrsion),  tcpcfg2 hangs at startup.

My *jar is:

17-10-02 19:35      1.030.593      0 a---  tcpcfg2.jar

Exactly the same apparently.

I haven't followed this thread very closely but will add this:
LVM has worked with java 1.4.x for quite some time (I might have modified the launch script) but it didn't work with 1.3.1 if you had hidden drives (not sure if the latest updates fixes this or not).  Tcpcfg2 worked with java 1.3.1 but not 1.4.x.  Tcpcfg2 will now work with java 1.4.x if you have ic40875.  I downloaded this from testcase, didn't know that was what it did and thought when tcpcfg2 started working with the Innotek java that they had made a change.  ic40875 is available through ecsmt (so it should be at www.ecomstation.com for download) or I can send it to someone if they need it.
