Hi Folks,

Playing around with all possible settings in PROTOCOL.INI does not really make a change to this problem. Even large file transfers using FTP (100 Mbit LAN, between one wired WarpServer and the wireless eCS based Thinkpad) does show the problem.

Usually a Standby/Wakeup does cure the symptom. But this is not possible if a program/the WPS hangs due to the unavailability of the network connection.

I had the  same problem using a Netgear PCI  card and that driver.  Supposedly if you remove NetBios and install NetBios over TCP/IP that resolves this problem.  But I had other reliability problems since we have a 2.4 Ghz phone and this  is the most used computer in the house so I just ran a cable to it without testing this solution.  Try it and let me know if it works.
