Back on the road, heading home :-( and I'm now convinced the problem was
with their setup, probably a combination of the router and the structure
(moving the T23 to a different less convenient location made the signal
much more consistent, although there were still some dropouts). Last
night at a motel the wireless was flawless; this Hampton in where we are
now has wireless only in the lobby and wired access in the rooms.
