There are 3 green lights on the device.  One for power, one for the
ethernet connection and one for the wireless connection.  When that last
is solid you have a good wireless connection. But its no where near as
qualitative as the XWLan monitor.  I don't see any thing in the setup
utility or the site survey that shows signal strength.  If there was a
special utility for windoze, I didn't see it, but I just booted wincrap
long enough to upgrade the firmware.
