Actually, the people who market PC hardware stopped pushing 802.11b two years
ago. But the stuff will still be available new in box for a few more years. I
just saw a copy of OS/2 2.11 new in box...
That isn't quite true, either, or no one would buy any PC. Compared to a new... maybe in the States poverty is already that far ... OTOH, I can assure you resellers even can't get rid of 6 months old computers here. That's the reason too why there are almost no stocks af anything anymore. Meaning, when something goes South in general there aren't much other options than to purchase an entire new set.
Apple, the latest PC looks like an antique. I assure you people still buy PCs,
even if they are a couple of years behind.
Right now, it's amazing we have even this much OS/2 support. Worrying about notDunno about the States, but here we can't even get a wired connection at school, universities etc... anymore. If you can't present yourself in wireless mode, you better prepare yourself to go to hell.
