Mark, do you see this behavior under other OSes as well as OS/2? I definitely do not see this, so I'm wondering if we should try swapping your card for a different one. I have more on hand and can send you another piece to test in your configuration, if necessary. I'm currently running four Cisco 350's under OS/2, and one under (don't laugh) Windows 98 (an older Toshiba Satellite running my youngest's games). None of these cards drops connection; they are all rock-steady.

You might want to send a message to Neil Waldhauer about this.  I spoke with him last night.  I believe he runs a Cisco 350 and is very pleased with its performance.  His e-mail is neil@blondeguy.com.

I'm also using a Cisco 340 and a 350 successfully with the cisco 340/350
beta driver.  Of the three wireless PCMCIA cards I have used (the 340, the
350 and an IBM High Rate card) I find the 350 the best for throughput,
though I have noticed an infrequent but annoying tendency to lose the
wireless connection (maybe once or twice a day) but the connection is
re-established after pulling out and then re-inserting the card.

Mark
