I don't understand why you are making the WiFi configuration in lan0, which is
presumably where your wired configuration is, which is what the consensus seems
to be. Unless you don't have a wired configuration in the laptop machine. Why
don't you just put it in lan1, and use scripts to switch from one to the other;
