I think you are wrong. Anyone can manufacture a laptop. Start with an IBM laptop, disassemble, reassemble with OS/2 compatible parts, and there is a totally compatible laptop. I have the IBM OS/2 compatibility test kit on CD-ROM. Anyone can be a manufacturer. A few small manufacturers sell machines with OS/2 and eCS preloaded. I've worked for several of them. IBM is not doing anything different, except they are bigger. It's been years since IBM actually built a PC of any kind. -- Neil Waldhauer, neil@blondeguy.com Life not only begins at 40, it begins to show. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
