Has anyone set up a system with a wireless system which acts as a router between two networks?
Depends a bit on the definition of "router" but I guess I did that.

I had a Thinkpad 770 setup as a gateway between a wired and a wireless network. The Thinkpad had a 3COM 10 MBIT LAN card and an ARtem 11 MBIT WLAN card installed.
The machines on the WLAN used a different subnet compared to the wired machines. The ARtem card was set to use the AdHoc mode.

I did only use static IP addresses, to make routing easy. :-)

However, I have since replaced the Thinkpad with a normal Linksys WLAN access point / router.

Regards,

Robert
