I would like to get the names consistent, if possible.

Looking further on the other system, it appears that the name that is
used is the "LAN User Name" to logon to the LAN.  It seems to just
automatically happen, so I don't know what is doing it or how it is
happening.  So, obviously, I don't know where/how to change it.
 

OS/2 isn't going to log onto the lan automatically.  Do you have the Local Workstation Logon in your startup group?  Or did you create a .CMD file to logon with and forget about?

As far as getting the names consistent I would have to get out my certification manuals research the different entries.  I may have time to look into over the holidays if someone else can't answer it for us by then.
