Sam,  I believe the author of the driver is Jens Glathe.   If you want 
I'll try to find his email address and send it to you via private 
email.  He was helpful but the problem would go away and then come back 
and I didn't follow up with him.  If I had more time to fool with the 
thing I would  have kept him in the loop.   Another thing that I didn't 
do, and I should have,  was to chase down the latest  firmware upgrade 
from Netgear.  You might try that.  We both may have a down level card.
