My D-link router won't pass NetBIOS -- and >according to the RFC, it shouldn't. But a bridge should, right? > It appears to. I have the bridge in my workshop which is connected to a hub. Right now I only have one Windoze computer connected to it. I can connect to my server's shares and to the internet great. I have Netbios on the server and NetBuei on the Windoze system and TCP/IP on both. > >The router does give me wireless access behind my firewall, but not with >NetBIOS. I bought the LinkSys instead of the D-Link because LinkSys said on their web page that you could bridge to a hub to connect two wired networks. The other manufactures didn't state that so I thought better safe than sorry. The LinkSys can be completely configured through a web browser so you don't have to install any Windoze software. It looks like WET11's are going on ebay for $55 to $65 each. I paid $45 each for my NetGear MA311's.
