Glad to hear you got it working. Actually, though, I'm not the driver's author; you'll need to direct those compliments to Jens Glathe, who's also on this list.
The WiFi State utility is great - as far as it goes. In fact, I recently set up a new A31p for a client under XP Pro, and even the built-in stuff there provides little if no help when it comes to botching the encryption; the signal meter just kept going...

In my defence, I was confused by the fact that the WiFiState utility comes up and indicates a valid connection, even if there is no "logical" connection. Some sort of error message indicating an invalid password was used would really be desireable here. As a result, I was "fooled" into thinking I had set it up properly.
