Lewis, Not so much preparing for Warpstock as just plain busy. Being that I'm wrestling with two of my machines and only one box up and running (though
I'm  thinking quite wobbly), I've been reformatting and reinstalling like
crazy  over here trying to learn 1) the operation of my WinXP Pro Thinkpad
and 2) why  my eCS partition on my newest desktop has an annoying shutdown
hang. I'm  finally beginning to realize that it could be the interaction of
the wobbly  OS/2 box that could be having a detrimental impact on the peer
network causing  my PMfax client/server software to create the hang my new
eCS partition. So,  I've resigned myself to take that OS/2 partition down
and bring it back up  with eCS v1.13 and at least take that suspicion out
of the mix. Further, I'm having a heck of a time setting up my WinXP Pro box shares to
be  seen on the network. I know it can be done because I at one point had
them all  sharing with one another but a glitch in my OS/2 partition caused
me to drop  back to an earlier backup that seems to be sparfarkled, thus
possibly creating  the eCS shutdown hang problem. Anyway, besides that, my business has become quite demanding which is
causing  me to increase my legal document creations which I do on my OS/2
box which  necessarily causes me to keep the sparfarkled partition cobbled
together and  on and on and on. Ugh! Because I pretty much have the wireless operation on my WinXP Pro partition
figured out, I haven't been over here so much seeking assistance, like I always do. So, my participation has been waning somewhat but I still appreciate seeing the post roll by. Maybe once I my OS/2 box down and back
up  with eCS I may get a chance to configure it more complexly and finally
get a  bit of freedom to come around and post more here but until then I'm
cloistered  over here pounding my head against the wall. <G>
