A: OS/2 Wireless Users <os2-wireless_users@2rosenthals.com>

In case anyone with an eye toward security is interested, the 802.11i draft is yet another 802.11 technology for authentication over ethernet. There is an open source project for this going on at SourceForge (http://www.open1x.org/). While this doesn't specifically deal with OS/2 and wireless, our OS-cousins in the Linux world have to deal with much the same lack of attention from hardware manufacturers as we do. Toward the goal of hardware accessibility, open source is a big step forward to filling that gap, IMO. It's nice to see that some people have stepped up to the plate on this emerging technology.
