After some operations DaniS506 starts to beep and the CF card cannot be accessed anymore. When I eject the drive there is a good chance (maybe 50 percent) that OS2LVM.DMD produces a system TRAP. This TRAP can even occur when there have been no beeps and access problems. Using PCM2ATA.ADD I have no problems accessing the card. Before I start boarding Daniela sending her a bug report, I take the chance to ask here, if anybody encountered this problem, too. And if there is a work around. Here are the build levels of OS2LVM and DaniS506 used on my system: 0|C:\os2\boot:bldlevel os2lvm.dmd Build Level Display Facility Version 6.10.480 Oct 6 2000 (C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1993-2000 Signature: @#IBM:14.084#@ IBM Logical Volume Manager Vendor: IBM Revision: 14.84 File Version: 14.84 Description: IBM Logical Volume Manager 0|C:\os2\boot:bldlevel danis506.add Build Level Display Facility Version 6.10.480 Oct 6 2000 (C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1993-2000 Signature: @#DANI:1.6#@##1## 9.8.2003 20:48:53 Nachtigall::::7::@@ Adapter Driver for ST506/IDE DASD Vendor: DANI Revision: 1.06 Date/Time: 9.8.2003 20:48:53 Build Machine: Nachtigall File Version: 1.6.7 Description: Adapter Driver for ST506/IDE DASD Thank you for your patience Michael -- Michael Warmuth Austria - The place in the heart of Europe Waldegghofg. 27 where no kangaroos are hopping around A-1170 Wien Austria michael@warmuth.at +43-676-3863440 www.warmuth.at =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
