My new Thinkpad T42p comes with an Intel Pro/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI
wireless adapter. I've been told that the special version of GENMAC
driver works with this chipset, but not on a Thinkpad for some reason. :-(
I checked the os2warp.be site and found "The new 350 driver should also
support the miniPCI version of the 350 Series, including bus mastering."
but does anyone know if the Cisco340/350 driver will in fact work with a
Cisco 802.11b Mini-PCI card? That is a listed available option for my TP.
I'm very impressed with the Cisco 352 card that Lewis sent sent me, but
I'd prefer to use a builtin one if I can. However I'd rather not lay more
money if it won't work.
