I have a IBM2SS14, PCMCIA, AUTODRV2, and $ICPMOS2 with a /G parameter. I also have PCMSSDIF.SYS (remmed out due to conflict with Dani) PCM2SRAM.SYS FLSH2MTD.SYS PCM2FLSH.SYS PCM2ATA.ADD /S:2 /!DM /NOBEEP OS2PCARD.DMD As far as DANI, it looks like this: DANIATAPI.FLT /VLL /A:1 /U:0 /TYPE:ZW DANIS506.ADD /VLL /PCS /A:1 /BAY There is something wrong with this, as I can't swap Ultrabay devices without it beeping a lot and the device not working. Dani's doc says that I need to suspend the TP to do the change, but how does one do that in eCS 1.1? I have the APM.SYS driver loaded. I can pull the PCMCIA card in and out and have WiFi say "No Card Detected" when it's out. >>Now, this is sort of strange since it won't connect when BSS is the choice, yet, it finds a BSS when >>ADHOC. Yes, they appeared to work the same. >You mean: > >ifconfig lan0 down >route -fh >arp -f >ifconfig lan0 up >dhcpstrt -i lan0 > >doesn't obtain an address? well, I'm using the one that was posted in this list as a command: Ifconfig lan0 down ifconfig lan0 delete dhcpmon -t route -fh arp -f dhcpstrt -i lan1 -d 0 Is 'ifconfig lan1 up' required? When I look at the DHCP monitor, it shows lan1 as being active. >You are correct, sir. lan0 is the NIC listed in the leftmost position >for the TCPIP binding. The one which follows the first comma (if >present) is lan1, etc. Which file would show this? In the Protocol.ini file in the IBMCOM directory, all the lines with "Bindings =" are ' E100BEOS1_nif,,MYCARD_nif ' with the double comma, is this an error or is the local loopback the space and the wireless card LAN2?
