Subject: [OS2Wireless] Can ping and traceroute but not e-mail thru AP

Insofar as throughput is concerned, APs work as hubs, not as switches, so 
it's easy to see how 20 wireless clients on an 802.11b segment would appear 
slow (11Mb / 20 stations < 512Kbps throughput per station). Without knowing 
how many other stations were coming through that AP, it's hard to tell 
where the bottleneck is. From what you report, however, it just sounds like 
the AP needed to be reset yesterday.
