(CAN-SPAM Act of 2003) > > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Hi: A few months back (like 24) I was working with Visual Age and the instructions suggested that the Loopback port be set up. At that time I asked in one of the groups why but never got a satisfactory answer. The instructions suggested it was for a s/w program that was installed along with VA and I was under the impression it had something to do with the deciphering the Compiler error messages. As I recall it was suppose to aid in finding a file/files that were suppose to be accessed through the LAN. At the moment I can't remember the name of the s/w and am not able to look it up. Thomas
