Next, point to the very top edge of the workplace tray and you will get
the UP/DOWN  arrow.  Now, right click and you will get a pop-up menu
which contains "Create New  Widget".  That should have Xwlan

Thanks - that did it, although it won't move from the extreme right
position of the eCenter (to the right of the battery power meter).

But I created a new profile - home - with the SSID of my WAP and dhcp, and
it won't allow the profile to be selected.  Error is apparently "Profile
can't be activated" since it still beeps after I unselected Beep on tcpip
config failure.
