When you say flawlessly though (in reference to > 1.02), do you mean it uses all the profiles or just the first? All the profiles. I have a separate profile for my townhouse in Leesburg (different SSID; no WEP). I can switch between them without any problem. That said, the selection does not survive a reboot, meaning I have to reselect a profile other than the first one after a restart, which is a bit of a nuisance, but not a real problem. > I know someone else reported having the same issue I do with just > the first working. Yes, WEP seems to work when run against later LinkSys (post-Cisco-buyout) hardware. The AP I'm using in Leesburg is an older LinkSys WAP11, and it does not work. > I would be interested in knowing which firmware you are using. I'm finishing up some fighting with my sendmail configuraiton on my mail server (luckily, this list runs through InetMail; I use sendmail for PHP apps). As soon as that's done, I'll reboot to Wintendo and check my firmware rev. I must apologize; you asked me for this back in April, and I let it slip. > I don't really need WEP here but would like to be able to use it > when I connect to other peoples wireless when I go over.
